Please forgive me I am new to the Arab Sport Horse show scene.

What does one have to do to qualify for the working hunter divisions at Sport Horse Nationals? Do you have to get a certain number of point at regionals? Also, at regionals do you have to have a certain number of points to enter the equitation classes?

Thanks in advance for your informative responses!

The AHA handbook is in the membership section of this website, and it details all the qualification requirements for regionals and nationals. Smiley

Qualifying for SHN for working hunter needs only one point for each class you want to enter for purebreds and 3 points for HA/AA.(ie 1/3 for atr, 1/3 for open, 1/3 for aaotr.) Hunter hacks are all only one point and the equitation  is 3 points for each of the classes-one on the flat and one over fences.
