I would have to say..

Ali Jamaal
Padron Psyche
Magic Dream

and the newer boys would be..

Marwan El Shaquab
Gazal El Shaquab
DA Valentino
Psky FA

I also have to ad the young guys who I think will make their mark on the breeds future....

QR Marc
Eden C
I also think Suzie (CrimsonFarms) has some new, hot young boys.Miyaz, York, and Vertigo to name a few..

I saw DA Valentino @ Midwests open house last year; He reminds me of Arn-Ett Perlane in a way; very beautiful, and nice disposition.

I loved Arn-Ett Perlane...I have never seen Valentino in person, but I know his tail female great granddam very well, Jamaara FA ( Ali Jamaal & NV Tiara Bey)..She is very much a part of my breeding program as I use her son Psky FA to my mares..I feel Jamaara is very strong in her offspring no matter how far back in the pedigree she is, she always comes through...

Ooh.. congrats on breeding to Bel Aire V. I spoke with Sheila last year (before his foals were born), and she said she hasn't been this excited about a stallion in quite awhile.  (well, except Jullyen.. but one she bred Smiley)

Pleasant Tap is my favorite living stallion because he placed 3rd in the Kentucky Derby one year and he is my throughbred's father. He's up for stud for 15,000 dollars now.

1. Depending on what my breeding goals were and the mare that I had access to, I would probably go with Apaladin for an English division foal.  Dream foal (Apaladin x VF Majorca--or is it Majorca VF?)

2. If I were to move in a different direction than English, I would breed for a working hunter.  I am not sure which stallion I would select, but you can be sure that there would be a heavy infusion of Garis blood in there.  Dream foal (Garis bred stallion x Oldenburg mare)

3. Another stallion I liked very much if I were to breed for a hunter pleasure type horse is AN Magno, although I am not sure what happened to him or if he is even still living/breeding.  Dream foal (AN Magno x El Magato bred mare for the rolling shoulder this line is so famous for).

4. If I were to breed for a halter horse, I would have to go with Cytosk.  That horse is wonderful at producing nice long, expressive necks however I would only breed a very short backed mare with an outstanding shoulder to him.  However, I would also strongly consider Pryme Thyme for a halter horse too although I have the same feeling about the shoulder of the mare having to be outstanding to breed to him.  Dream foal (Cytosk or Pryme Thyme x Egyptian related mare with heavy concentration of *Bint Maisa El Saghira on the dam line and some nice El Magato blood on top for movment and expression)

5. While I am not a big fan of the western division, I think it would be fun to own and ride a reiner or a working cow horse.  For this I would probably go with *Kordales (sp?) Dream foal (Kordales x a mare with concentrated breeding to the mare Shiela Varian did so well on in all breed competition in the 1960s(ish?).  I'm going to porbably get the devil for this but I can't for the life of me remember her name.  Was it something like Ronteza?  I think so but again, not being a participant in this area of the show world, I really haven't familiarized myself with that type of breeding.)

Yes it was Ronteza.. a lovely Witez II bred mare.    There is not a lot of concentrated breeding specifically to that mare, but most of her relatives (the Witez II/ Xenophonn bred horses) do excel in the working western divisions. There are two distinct styles, reining and cutting, so which they do well in, depends on there body type, temperment, height, etc.  Garis is also Witez II bred (as is Gamaar).  Lovely horses. I prefer the Gamaar bred, as I think he had a nicer top line, but really... they produced similarly I think.

I'm pretty sure An Magno is no longer standing.

I've said it before, but I think it deserves saying again ...

Desert Heat VF+

Desert Heat VF+ won his first National Champion title as a yearling, and now this year, at thirteen years old, he has proven that he still has what it takes to be competitive in the Halter arena by being named Canadian National Champion Stallion AOTH.  This now gives him Four National Champion Titles and Three Reserve National Champion Titles. spanning thirteen years, and as soon as the letter from AHA arrives he will officially become Desert Heat VF+/ ... Plus he makes beautiful babies  Smiley

2007 Canadian National Champion Stallion AOTH
Desert Heat VF+

2007 Canadian Nationals Top Ten W.P. AAOTR 18-39

And just because she is beautiful
