Which Seminar is a Must-See for You?

The educational seminars last year at Convention were such a hit that we are bringing you even more this year. This year's seminars and forums include:
  • President's "Town Hall" Meeting - Get up-close-and-personal with AHA President, Lance Walters in an intimate question and answer session. Attendees will have a chance to get answers to the most pressing issues at hand at the AHA Convention and in the Arabian horse community. All attendees are encouraged to join in!
  • Convention How-To Seminar - Stop by this quick and informative seminar to learn the ins-and-outs of how Convention runs - especially great for first-time Convention attendees!

Volunteer Service Award Deadlines Approaching
Volunteers are the backbone of our association. The Volunteer Service Award Program is designed to recognize and honor those who have contributed significant service, resources and expertise to their club and the association at the club, regional and national level. Remaining deadlines are as follows:
Club Level: To AHA from Clubs by September 15
Regional Level: To AHA from Regional Directors by October 31
National Level: To AHA from Members by October 15

Come to the 2011 Arabian Horse Judges & Exhibitors School
The 2011 Judges & Exhibitors School will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona, December 1-3 at the Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. The school is for both prospective judges and exhibitors who want to sharpen their skills by learning how Arabians are viewed and evaluated by judges. Ready for the 2011 Arabian Horse Judges Evaluation?
The 2011 Judges Evaluation will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona, December 2-4 at the Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Judges Evaluation is for applicant judges that have gone to a judging school within the past two years and have done their three Learner Judging's and are ready to be tested to become a judge. 2012 Arabian Horse Judges Seminar and National/Regional Testing
The 2012 Judges Seminar will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona, December 5-6 at the Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. The New and the Renewing National/Regional testing will take place on December 7. Click here for the registration form and the New and Renewing National/Regional Applications on the web site. We are extending the due date for these forms to September 19. You will also find information on the Qualifications to Become an AHA Accredited National/Regional Judge and Maintaining Your National/Regional Status. Support the Annual Arabian Horse Judging Contest
This special event is the training ground for young men and women who will shape the horse industry into the next millennium. Contestants from 4-H and FFA clubs, AHA clubs and universities from across the continent evaluate the conformation and performance of some of the finest Arabian horses in the country. The contest takes place during the finals weekend of the U.S. National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show.

AHA Youth Programs is looking for sponsorships of this educational event as well as horses for the contest. If you plan to be exhibiting your horses in Tulsa, Okla. at the U.S. National Show and they would be available the morning of Friday, October 28, please contact the Youth Department at 303-696-4505. We are looking for halter and performance horses alike.

And don't forget to choose your sponsorship level (Bronze $500, Silver $1000, Gold $2500 and Platinum $5000) or contact the Youth Department for partial sponsorship opportunities! Sponsorship benefits can be customized to meet your needs!

AHYA Youth Silent Auction Needs Item Donations
AHYA is looking for item donations for the 2011 Youth Silent Auction. This annual auction is held in conjunction with the AHA Annual Convention each year and is one of the largest fundraisers for Youth Programs. Large or small, your items contribute to sponsoring all of the educational programs offered by AHYA and Youth Programs each year.
