First Tour of the Arabian Horse Galleries, Standing Room Only
The AHA Clubs of Kentucky and Region 14 sponsored the first-ever public tour of the Arabian Horse Galleries building during Sport Horse Nationals' inaugural year held at the prestigious Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.

On Saturday, September 26, more than 220 Arabian enthusiasts from across America spilled into the Kentucky Horse Park's South Theater for a presentation on the Galleries. The audience was divided into five tour groups and provided a layout of what exhibits would go where as they visualized the museum that will soon share the story of the Arabian horse with millions.

"To see the space that will become the catalyst for promoting the Arabian horse to generation after generation is an historic opportunity," said Cindy Stylianos of Goldvein, Virginia. "We wouldn't have missed this for the world."

The Arabian Horse Galleries are set to open Spring 2010. Look for information coming on Opening Gala events soon.

Adequan Comes Aboard as Corporate Sponsor
AHA is delighted to announce Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc., marketers of Adequan, as a new corporate sponsor. As such, Adequan becomes the "Official Joint Therapy Sponsor of AHA." This one-year agreement, will give Luitpold Pharmaceuticals access to AHA's some 35,000 members through e-mail blasts, ads and editorial in Modern Arabian Horse as well as a substantial presence at AHA's national shows.

"Adequan is certainly an excellent fit for AHA, said Dr. Cory H. Soltau, DVM. Adequan has been around for years so the product has a long and safe track record for strong efficacy in the treatment of equine joint inflammation. As Arabians have no peer in endurance activities, distance competitors have long used this medication for its prophylactic effect as well as its post competition anti-inflammatory qualities," added Dr. Soltau.

Delegates and guests attending the AHA Convention in Reno in November will have the opportunity to hear from this new sponsor in General Session about the latest news in equine joint therapy.

"We're proud to have this new partnership with Luitpold Pharmaceuticals. The Adequan brand has a tremendously positive reputation - a terrific match for our 100 year-old breed association. From distance and racing, to reining and the show ring, Arabian horse owners have long understood the usefulness of this fine product. We warmly welcome Luitpold to the AHA family," said Lance Walters, AHA president.
