TRAC AHA Approved
The Trail Riding Alberta Conference (TRAC) has been formally added to the list of AHA approved Competitive Trial Ride (CTR) organizations. Use 2008 Qualification Points in 2009
All qualification points earned in 2008 and 2009, up until the close of entries for the Regional or National show in which an exhibitor is entered are valid. Points used from a show in 2008 can be used again in 2009. The same rule also applies to Regional Top Fives or better earned in 2008. Please note that each class entered must have separate and distinctive qualifications. For information contact info.comp@arabianhorses.org.
Reined Cow Horse Qualifications Corrected
The Reined Cow Horse qualifications for National competitions have been corrected. If an entry intends to qualify at an AHA recognized show holding a Reined Cow Horse class, two points or a score of 136 or better can be used as a qualification for the National Championship class. This is an adjustment from the previous requirement of two points or two scores of 68 or better. For more information, please contact the AHA National Events Department at 303-696-4500 option 4 or info.comp@arabianhorses.org.
Host Your Own 2009 Arabian Community Show
There is still plenty of time to host a 2009 Arabian Community Show. If you have a current local, open, or all-breed show, your show can easily qualify as an Arabian Community Show. Need help adjusting your prize list? Call AHA at (303) 696-4500. Give your local exhibitors a place to have fun, earn points towards awards, and celebrate the Arabian horse.
