Arabian Horse Galleries Make History
Wouldn't it be great to teach 1,000,000 people each year about Arabian horses? Wouldn't it be fantastic if there were a museum dedicated to the history of the Arabian horse?

The Arabian Horse Galleries answers "Yes!" to both. With construction in full swing, the Arabian Horse Galleries is the largest permanent museum ever created for the Arabian horse, covering two levels of galleries inside the Kentucky Horse Park's International Museum of the Horse (Lexington, KY). World-class museum designers will combine precious art and artifacts that have been preserved over the centuries with experiential interactive exhibits to create a breathtaking experience for the 1,000,000 people who visit the Kentucky Horse Park every year.

Considered one of the most significant promotional and educational efforts for the Arabian horse in the 21st Century, the museum follows the Arabian horse from Ancient Persia to the Middle East and Europe, its importation to the United States, and the Arabian Horse Today.

As a proud Promotional Partner for the Arabian Horse Galleries, AHA is exhorting every member to get involved in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Arabian horse!

Click here to watch the Arabian Horse Galleries seven-minute video.

In an effort to make the Arabian Horses Galleries at the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park the very best experience possible, we are looking for information on the following:
  1. Your list of the top 10 "star" Arabian horses over the past 100 years.
  2. Your list of American "stars" (stage, screen, theatre and music) who own Arabian horses from 50 years ago to today.
Please send your list to Evie Tubbs at: evie@purebredarabiantrust.com

MAGAZINE
Sponsor a Subscription Continues to Roll
Thanks to those AHA members who have mailed, faxed or e-mailed their "Sponsor a Subscription" cards and forms back to the Arabian Horse Association. Your dedication is the first step in introducing as many people as possible to our historic and versatile breed. Launched June 1, the 2008 Sponsor A Subscription Drive encourages every single active member of AHA to consider one person or group he or she personally thinks will enjoy the Arabian horse experience and sponsor them a subscription to Modern Arabian Horse. It can be a relative or a neighbor or even a friend who you think would share the same passion and bond you have with Arabian horses. It could also be a business, like a local library, doctor's office or your veterinarian.

Sponsorships are $25 for a one-year subscription or $60 for three years. With the sponsored subscription, the recipient will receive a personalized letter letting them know their subscription to Modern Arabian Horse was sponsored by a member of the Arabian Horse Association. Further, every member and the subscriptions they sponsor will be highlighted in an annual status report-part of the June/July 2009 issue of Modern Arabian Horse.

For each subscription to Modern Arabian Horse an active member sponsors and submits, he or she will be entered into a drawing of three Grand Prizes valued at $1,000 each.
  • A Lifetime Membership to the Arabian Horse Association
  • A VIP package to the 2009 U.S. Nationals in Tulsa, Okla.
  • A $1,000 VISA gift card.
Click here to download a Sponsor a Subscription form or you can use the Postage Paid, business reply card that was attached between pages 32 and 33 of the June/July issue and August/September issues of Modern Arabian Horse. Should you have any questions, please contact Emily DeLuca at marketplace@arabianhorses.org or (303) 696-4569.
