Inaugural issue of Modern Arabian Horse hits mailboxes
The inaugural issue of the re-designed and re-launched association magazine, Modern Arabian Horse, formerly Arabian Horse Magazine, hit mailboxes the end of April/beginning of May. The NEW magazine offers a great package of usable, readable and exciting content for readers of varying backgrounds and interests. AAEP Hosts Annual Healthy Horses Workshop
The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) will host their annual Healthy Horses Workshop for all horse owners on Saturday, July 28, 2007 from 8 to 5 p.m. in Fort Collins. Colo. AHA Quadruples USDF All Breeds Offerings for '07
If you compete in dressage and would like to be eligible for the USDF All Breeds Awards, this is a great year to get involved. AHA has expanded its USDF All-Breeds Awards program to include Adult Amateur, Junior/Youth Rider and Vintage Cup in 2007, as well as Open. Scores earned through USDF/AHA Recognized Shows or through USDF/EC Open Shows will count toward the USDF All Breeds Awards. Top horses will receive a certificate and other recognition. AHA Teams Up with Fort Howes for 2007 Endurance Championship
AHA will host its 50 and 100 mile National Championship Endurance Rides in conjunction with the Fort Howes Endurance Rides in Custer National Forest, Ashland, Mont. The 50 mile will be June 9 and the 100 mile on June 10. Awards include championship trophies, blankets, plaques, ribbons, belt buckles, coolers and a halter with cheek plate for the top junior finisher. Entries received paid in full by May 25, 2007 will be entered in a drawing for an embroidered turnout blanket. For information on the ride, click here

Officer Nominations Due in August
The Nominating Committee would like all potential officer candidates for 2007, excluding the present slate, to submit the application form to the committee chair, Mickey Aboussie, by August 1, 2007. The Committee will review the forms and take appropriate action that is consistent with an equitable presentation of eligible candidates.
