Calling All Active Clubs
Has your club excelled this year? You might just want to enter it in the Club Excellence Awards. Four categories are available: Club Projects, Communications, Breed Promotion and Membership Retention and Recruitment. The club selected as the winner in each category will receive a $500 cash award. One club will be selected from the four winners to receive an additional $500 and be named Club of the Year.

Above and Beyond Volunteers Wanted
 
The Volunteer Service Award Program recognizes individuals who really make a difference in the success of their clubs and events. Nominations are accepted as follows:

At the club level, a maximum of two individuals may be nominated by September 15 by a club officer. At the regional level, a maximum of two individuals may be nominated by August 31 by a regional director. At the national level, an unlimited number of names may come forward from any individual by October 15. The final candidates will be selected by the Executive Committee.

Show Recognition Fee Increase for 2007
 
Beginning in January, 2007, AHA will charge $100 per show for show recognition with a $1 per horse post-recognition fee. AHA recognizes 350 shows per year from various organizations. Recognized show results count towards qualifications for national and regional shows and eligibility for Horse and Amateur Achievement Award points.

New Judges and Stewards Form
 
A new Official Charge Form has been developed by the Commissioner's Review Panel that exhibitors may use if necessary. This form is submitted directly to the Judges and Stewards Commissioner. Click here to download the form.
