USEF Seeks Lifetime Achievers
The United States Equestrian Federation is now accepting nominations for the 2005 USEF Lifetime Achievement Award through August 26. This award recognizes an individual whose "lifetime experience and accomplishments exemplify uncommon devotion to the sport of competition and whose equestrian career and horsemanship have continually elevated the sport's excellence." Club Excellence Award Nominations Due Soon
August 15th is the entry deadline for the Club Excellence Award program, and entry forms have been mailed to all presidents and membership chairs. AHA will award a $500 check to the winners in the following categories: Breed Promotion/Community Involvement, Communications, Club Projects/Membership, Recruitment/Retention. The Club of the Year is chosen from the category winners and is awarded an additional $500. Read about Club Excellence and Volunteer Service Awards here.
Officer Nominations Due in August
The Nominating Committee would like all potential officer candidates for 2005, excluding the present slate, to submit the application form to the committee chair, Mickey Aboussie, by August 18, 2005. The Committee will review the forms and the appropriate action will be taken that is consistent with an equitable presentation of eligible candidates. A decision on whether to have a candidates' forum will be predicated on the number of new candidates submitting applications
