New Youth Fundraiser Was a Hit!

The first-ever Flying Pigs Fundraiser was a complete success! Many avid piggy buyers lined up to purchase their pigs at Youth Nationals this year. The target was set, the piggies were ready, and on the count of three, pigs began flying in Tingley! Four pig buyers on Tuesday and three buyers on Thursday were High on the Hog and rollin' in loot as the dust settled. Abby Burger, Carol Bemis, Alex Desederio, and Silver Aspen Farms, Austin Boggs, Steve Corwin, and Ryan Pullara all picked up their fat little checks from the Youth Office so they could oink-oink-oink all the way to their Piggy Banks.

By popular demand, you can bet you'll be seeing these little piggies next year at Youth Nationals! Only next year, Farmer AHYA will have more piggies available, and more piggies mean more money!

Horse Superstitions

  • Horseshoes are supposed to be lucky.
  • The luckiest horse shoe of all is one off the hind leg of a gray mare.
  • If you hang a horseshoe upside down, the luck runs out.
